Fae Farm is a lot like Rune Factory expect in a fantasy land. There is a day/night cycle and the seasons change quickly too. This is a super addictive game! Though it should be noted that like Harvest Moon, your character gets tired the more they work, so you’ll want to keep some food on hand. You can even play the game with your friends online but we didn’t get the chance to check that out. There’s so much to do in Fae Farm and its very easy to play this game for hours. You can catch bugs, fish, do side quests, fight monsters, mine, and more. Of course, if you don’t want to focus on the story or want a break from it there are plenty of distractions. That’s when the game really starts to open up! We won’t spoil how but we will say that this is when the game starts to get really exciting. The story is pretty good and we recommend at least focusing on it up until the end of Chapter 4. The story features you as an outsider coming to a faraway land that seems pretty normal but you start finding monsters and some more fantasy areas that we won’t spoil. You can farm but the game is set in a fantasy setting with a story that progresses as you play. Does Fae Farm hold up though? Is this a game that simulation game fans will enjoy? Here is our review of Fae Farm for the Nintendo Switch!įae Farm is not just a farming simulation game. We had a preview awhile back which had very positive impressions. Fae Farm is the latest game in the farm simulation genre to be brought to the Switch.
